Unfortunately, Yoyoy Villame, the novelty singer and comedian from Bohol, Visayas has already passed away, but his songs are still a favorite among many Visayans and Filipinos.

I came to know and enjoy this song from my grandmother, who is also a native of Visayas. With its upbeat tempo and informational lyrics, along with Yoyoy's unique Visayan accent, you just can't help but smile and try to sing along. And if you watch the video below, you might just learn the location of the Philippine provinces that all Filipino children are required to memorize as elementary students.

In fact, with its "happy" vibe and geographical lesson, I think it would make for a good tourism instrument should a production company invest in creating a visually Philippine-representative music video to accompany the song.
